Friendly Dog Paw Treats (Printable)

Healthy homemade paw-shaped snacks with oats, applesauce, and peanut butter for your dog’s enjoyment.

# Components:

01 - 1 cup rolled oats
02 - 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
03 - 1/4 cup natural peanut butter (xylitol-free)
04 - 1 large egg

05 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
06 - 2 tablespoons finely grated carrot

# Method:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Pulse rolled oats in a food processor until coarse flour consistency is achieved.
03 - Combine oat flour, applesauce, peanut butter, and egg in a mixing bowl and mix until dough forms.
04 - Stir in parsley and grated carrot if using.
05 - Roll dough to approximately 1/4 inch thickness on a lightly floured surface.
06 - Use a paw-shaped cookie cutter to form treats and place them onto the prepared baking sheet.
07 - Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until treats are firm and edges are golden.
08 - Allow treats to cool fully before offering to your dog.
